how different to a beetle is the tray

the (bad) photos above are of the ashtray. I'll try to take some better ones. I don't see why it shouldn't fit a beetle, those four holes you see
from the top are for the monting screws. You just need a flat section underdash to mount it. Size is 100mm wide x 120mm deep x height 30mm. The
actual chrome front is about 40mm high, it has a handle to pull out the tray.
I'll try it out in my '67 beetle in daylight.

Here is another photo. I tried it in my '67 beetle, and it can be fitted under the glovebox, but it pokes out a few mm. OK but it fits under a
ghia dash better.
