Fuel injected Motor.


HI,Could anybody tell me about the aspects on a motor that I recently purchased,it is a 1915lt,"2liter fuel injected".It is out of a"550 Porsche Spyder Reolica",built in Brazil.Now its in my 73 "L" Beetle. Could anybody tell me if it has :Solid lifters: or "Hydrulics lifters".Also the setting of the timing and the vale setting and so on please.Thank you.you can e-male me or PM me,,,.:blush::cool:

The Engine number is CGA1083.

It has not been Modified or rebuilt. ..

If it is a 1915cc engine its been modified so may have anything inside it. Take some pics and check the engine numbers etc, might give someone a bit more of an idea of what you have there.

your going to need to get the whole engine number off it from under the pistons, you would want to take the rockers covers off and take a look, there isnt much we can do without actually seeing the motor.. as its not stock in the slightest as SuperOwen said it could have anything in it.

Is this the motor off ebay a month or so ago??
Had like kadron but injected??
There was interest here as to what it actually was as most of us didnt know

what we are saying is that you wont get a book that describes your motor.

We have never seen a 1915 that has "not been Modified or rebuilt. .."

There is some mexibeetle parts on that motor too - distributor, possibly coil and leads too
