engine number help
Hi there. I've just bought a '66 beetle. Chassis number starts seems right, starting with 196 and it says '1300 deluxe' on the back.... but the
engine number is 8981709. My research says it should start with an 'F'. have I been dudded? Is it really a 1200? |

Thanks guys.
I'm disappointed that it's not really a 1300. I guess I should have checked it out more thoroughly before buying it. |
