What Do I Have?
Well I'm glad you asked.
This is a VW engine 2 arm yoke custom made to suit your own floor engine stand
Have had plenty of requests for this type of yoke
The one pictured has a 120mm shaft with a 60mm dia, this seems to be the standard sizes for repco and super cheap auto floor engine stands, but I can
make one to suit your needs. I'd just need some accurate measurments of the shaft dia and shaft length that is needed.
This 2 armed yoke suits all air cooled VW engines type 1 - 2 - 3
So if you have ever attempted to work on the old Vee Dub donk (1100cc - 1600cc) without the proper engine stand you will know how troublesome it is to
wrangle with these little air cooled rascals.
With this fantastic engine stand yoke it saves the expence of having to buy another engine stand just to work on your fav dak dak donk!
It takes all the cussing and swearing out of having a punch buggy engine drop on the old foot. ouch!
Once the engine is mounted up to this stand you can split the crank case in half and turn the engine around 360 degrees till the cows come home.
If your engine case is not mounted and supported the right way you will stuff your case !!!! so dont make do with a normal engine stand that you
can't mount to half the vw case anyhow !
This engine stand yoke bolts up to half the crankcase so engine work is dead set easy as
