hi all
i finally regoed my baja and after a week pulled it all apart for an IRS conversion does any one have a jig i could borrow or hire in the newcastle region.
would save me making one

Vintage veedub @ Sydney have the mounts to weld on the frame and yeah I think they had a jig that they hired out.

i used the floor pan and running gear from a 72 beetle, motor n box till the suby ea82 1800 goes in and the 72 beetle shell i a convertible baja which is being mounted on a suzuki sierra chassis n running gear .
fun for all.

after measuring it all up the suzuki chassis on a short wheel base is ideal as it finishes in the engine bay and does not hangout i will move rear axel right back and set it up with coils ans trailing arms will post some pics soon
