replace fllor pan with sheet metal?
The rust under the battery in my VW is pretty massive. I know this maybe sacrilegious for some, but i was just wondering if anyone knows if
replacing floor pan with sheet metal is legal in Victoria?
I haven't made any decisions just yet but was wondering if anyone knows about this?
Bizarre

If u are just replacing the metal under the battery, thats tops
But if u do the WHOLE pan with sheet metal, without any ribs (like the factory one) or thick gauge steel, it will be very flexi/warpable.
weld the panel in under the battery, no dodgy with pot rivets and u will be fine
