Ever want to shoot other vehicles from a bug legally?

Here is a free download of a computer game from 1996 called Death Rally. It is a top down racer that is pretty addictive and a good bit of fun, and at 40mg and free for all, it is worth the download.

http://www.remedygames.com/games/deathrally

The first (and worst) car in the game is a beetle, but you can progress up to a 911.

You enter a series of races, equipped with machine guns, mines, spiked bull bars and either race or destroy your opponents. You can even sabotage other cars before the race.

Good bit of fun - for the beetle fan that has everything and time on their hands.

I know, it used to rock hard right?

I saw it on the "Name the Game" section on Good Game (Video game TV show on ABC2 mondays) and it got me keen to play it again.

Did you know you can get GTA1 and GTA2 for free from the rockstar website? They re released it as it doesn't sell any more, sort of a good will thing for the fans.

http://www.rockstargames.com/downloads#/dl:/collection:7/content:/downloads/g...

They also have another one listed for free, called Wild Metal - never played it but it sounds good.
