rack and pinion in a split?
lookind at puting a rack and pinion front end in my bus so my wife likes to drive it and was wondering if anyone has gone down this path? does it use
existing spindles? i think it raises the steering box, but I need to know more!

Hi Josh,
Not sure what you've been told about Rack and Pinion steering, but rack and pinion replaces your steering box and gets ride of it all together. It
will give you about a 5cm clearance, reasonably easy fit, you keep the original spindles and tie rods and makes a world of difference. I now have no
play in my steering wheel what so ever.
