Subagears

Hi, has anyone fitted a 5 speed subaru box to a T3 van using subagears reverse cut c&p.
I am interested in the drivability outcome.
Dave.

Hey Dave,
The first one in a T3 van is being done in Washington as we speak.
Here's the link to the build thread on the Samba :
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=407222

We had to spend some time sorting out a way to make the shift lever work correctly from left to right as the T3 doesn't use the ball and cup that the type 1 beetle and kombi use. Now solved. (We'll be offering kits for this soon.)

He's about to fit up the output flanges to his cv's and axles and we're anxiously awaiting completion of his gears from the factory so the box can be put together.
Then it's time for a drive!!!
