Volks porn US style...
Just thought I'd throw up some pics pertinent to drag racing/vw performance of our recent trip to the US Sacramento Bugorama, plus Irwindale test and
tune night, and the VW Classic....second last day here, had a ball but will be good to get back home.

All the cops out the front of Nick's Burgers meet that shut down any chance of burnouts.
My little boy Kai loved all the big (what he calls) "onjins" (ie. engines) but also checked out most of the wheel/tyre combos around too (I'm sure
he can tell a genuine vs repro Fuch after this past weekend)

Silly question but are they routing the alt and oil light wiring through the fan shroud or between the cylinder tin and shroud?

Unfortunately never saw/heard it running mate. Lots of cars over here running without mufflers though - I guess the cops are a bit more relaxed over
here, just like they don't mind you doing up to 10 miles an hour over the speed limit pretty much everywhere! I just try to keep up with everyone
else and hope not to get booked.

Through the fan shroud mate, you can just see the edge of the rubber grommet in the pic.
