EA82 INTO 1970 BAJA


well some said it was a waste of time to do but hey do the math

1 1970 baja 500 bucks
sell motor n box n axles wheels ect... 200
buy a suby 250
keep motor scrap shell 195
buy a s/h adapter from somone on here 100
so far ive spent $ 455
exhaust pipe for cooling 100
heater hoses +s/h rad bits n pieces 120
2 liter clutch n pressure plate ebay 40

she used to struggle to do over 58 miles an hour in 4th
now i can do 60mph in 2nd
not to bad for 715 dollars roughly
now to make all new bar work and belt covers
i am now working on my brakes
and having lots of fun
and then off to engineers

69' baja: kombi box, thing spindles, irs, disc front, type 3 rear drums, 2 inch lift kit, 31x10 rears. :tu:
New engine in process: 94mm p&bs, 74mm C/w chomol Crank, 35.5x39 SP heads, turbo. Wierd combo, hopeful torque monsta!

I can wind mine out to 105km/h in 2nd before it hits the revlimiter, Awesome feeling aye, dont listen to the neysayers
DIY subi conversions are definatley best bang for buck

awsome yeah i forgot i spent 500 on a super bug convertible used the single side plate box and all the arms n stuff into mine an IRS conversion and i am baja'ing the shell and putting it on a 92 suzuki siera i have cut the zook down to a floor and firewall and yeah i will get some pics on of both
