RIP : Milton Adey

Sad Day ! Milton Adey passed away to-day .
He was the best announcer for car events I have ever heard , and one very nice bloke .
He announced at Surfers Paradise Raceway , Summernats , Brisbane HotRod Show , Early days at Willowbank Raceway and many more car events around Australia !!
He draged race in the early days in a Ford Anglia , ford Pinto .
One time at Sydney WSID we were talking and He said that Rod Richardson Bug was the best sounding car he had heard for years .
He loved his fords but when my brother made Top25 at the SummerNats with his 72 Chevelle he was first guy to walk up and shake his Hand .
Thanks for all the memorys mate !! and cool storys !!

I hsd the pleasure of meeting Milt several times early in a career gone by and yes Pete, he was a really nice bloke. He must have had a secret passion for VW's as I always got a great rap on the PA whenever he was announcing at the meetings I ran. For all of us that knew him, I'm sure that our hearts go out to his family and that he will be remembered fondly and often.
