Another gearbox question (1600 'box)

Hey guys,

I'm in the process (over the next year or so) of putting a 2276cc engine in my '76 beetle.
With a solid clutch, pressure plate and flywheel combo, will the box be safe if I'm not doing rough launches or attempting burnouts etc? I will eventually strengthen the box, bug down the line if I decide to get more serious than a nice cruiser.

Cheers!

if n/a man and u want to do hard launches and burnouts, 2nd hand kombi boxes and mounting kits aren't all that exy.

if ur box is single side plate, you atleast got the stronger of the bug bunch. Should be fine.
