1303 wiper blade & arms

My wiper arms have been on and off so many times I have forgotten which way round they go
As for the blades all shops have always sold me rubbish "complete" blades
Went to my AutoPro the other day and got new rubber inserts for my original ones
Finally I have clean smooth wipes

Now - on a 1303 they had one long and one short wiper arm and one one long and one short blade

What is the correct set up??
Is it driver side long short arm long blade and the reverse on the passenger side??
Or is it the other way or is it????

All of mine have a little L and R stamped into the arm on the inside just near the spring

They have all had the same length arms but drivers one has more of a bend on it so it doesnt walk off the screen at the top

maybe its a 75 thing the different lenghts

8mm wiper refills from any autoshop or servo is all you need for 12 volt bugs

Hi Barry

Does your car have the Australian wiper arms, they have a square end with a round pin where the blade holder attaches, the Euro ones have loop on the end of the arm.

I bought some RHD Euro ones for my bug from VW Heritage, according to them the right arm is the long one.
