disc brakes


i am considering buying front and rear cross drilled disc brakes with twin piston willwood calipers from airkewled has anybody used these are they worth the outlay or are there any brake systems from australia that are of same or better quality and performance

There was a similar post regarding a Type 3

Richard Holzl @ V Force does a Porsche Boxster kit for the front and I think Ford EB for the rear

How about the set up that vwcool designed. There is a thread somewhere on here. They looked like pretty serious upgrade without the outrageous price tag.

why do You want to upgrade to cross drilled discs??
and discs on the rear??

also - good luck getting MOST wilwood calipers approved, almost none have dust seals which you will find is one of the req's for rego/approval probably in every state


+1 for the vwcool or v-force options if you need them

i have a 74 std beetle want the added stopping power as i am considering doing track days here and there and maybe at some stage do some hill climbs if driving skill develops. will be running 1916 engine probably built by pobjoy
