Whats with that street and vw's? I have been driving up there a while now and there is always vw's on the street! today it was...

transmission shop:1x beach buggy,1 x 57 oval
auto electrician:1 x mid 60's bug looks to mint original condition
panel beater: 1x baja,1xkombi
4x4 wreckers:3xkombis,2 beetles

i love that street! does anybody own them or does anybody know why there are so many vws on the one street? the street is no more that 500 mtres long...

Glad you said that - I was thinking Sandgate Newcastle. The bloke in the GPS probably would have baulked at the street name anyway.

The panel shop is where i worked for 5 years, they still do a lot of vws there, the owner of the black manx is the ex mechanic from mick motors, they still repair vws there as well, the owner of the electrical place has a couple vws, he loves them and the owner of 4wd city just collects cars for free or cheap and resells them or tries to because he wants a fair bit of money for them

well that explains everything! I could have been working in that street as of christmas last year as i was offered a job at the upholsterers there, i didn't take it but i would have loved to work on that street!

they wouldn't believe vw's do donuts, i showed em the video of the wpvw blue beetle at warwick... they get it now.
