KG is currently unregistered as it's been in storage while I'm working overseas. Previously registered in NSW in the late 1980's with the same body, chassis and 1600cc engine block. Taken out of storage in September 2010 and $2,500 spent prepping it for sale.

Hope all is going well Steve from some old faces around the Central Coast. You might remember my similar KG in the late 80's with moons and a slightly more jade green colour. Good to see this ride still knocking around. Good luck with the sale.

A short focal length camera lens puts the background out of focus to emphasize the foreground subject. Check my avatar image, you can see the KG is real :!:

Reub, second photo shows seat upholstery - albeit taken mid rebuild. Small scale bucket seats were chosen to fit the scale of the interior and ensure the top of backrest was no higher than the window sill.

Always was more of a flat four fan than any fast four or rotary. Here's my old '69 Notchback, a great daily driver! Sold a decade ago, I wonder who has it now?

Thanks Aussie_Mick, however I can't take credit for my old Notchback. I bought it as a stock resto and only lowered it and bolted on the polished Porsche 914 wheels (originally on my KG) and the Euro-spec tail lights.

Empi, the fan shroud and kit to adapt the Porsche fan & alternator came from Vintage Vee Dub Supplies. It uses the stock oil cooler if I remember correctly. There's some debate about the effectiveness of the cooling, however the only way to be sure is to fit two cylinder head temp gauges, which I did. The 1916cc has only been run about two hours and head temps seem OK.

The carb linkage came with the Weber kit and was adapted to mount behind the cooling shroud rather than through it. I can't remember the exact details, however it wasn't that difficult. Sorry I can't provide more specific info.
