Doesn't siund like any engine number I know... are they type 1 engines ???
Could be that they're out of a type 3, in which case the number would be stamped near the case join up by the oil cooler....

the numbers should be just below the generator stand...
and unless the generator stand is part of the engine crankcase which means they are VERY old...
later engine numbers have a prefix like HO - AD - etc..
does the engine look like Mine.... although it will be black.. lol
