Wanted -Rear lower cylinder deflector tins


Hey , I am chasing a set of German lower rear deflector tins for a Type 1. As scene in the attached pics they are located under the rear brest tin up against the lower rear cylinders. I need both the right and left side tins pieces. If you have a usuable set siting around let me know.PM me here.

didi this tin come on all bugs
i didnt even know it was meant to be there.
i am current doing a rebuild and noticed my motor was missing the defecter that sit right under the cyclinders and i sure dont have these bits.
are they needed and can you still buy them.

Yeah all original tinware is there for a purpose. I believe that the rear deflector tins purpose is to make the air travel all the way through the fins before leaving the rear of the vehicle. I would recommend highly geting second hand original tinware over new as the new stuff is cheaply made, doesnt fit well and often is missing important pieces.(This was illustrated to me recently and I now have several pieces of "new" tinware that I wouldnt put on any engine").
