Removing door glass and regulator

Hi I have a 67 beetle wanting to know how to remove the door glass, is it bolted? or does it just sit in the regulator?
Thanks.

The door glass is held in the glass bracket which is bolted to the regulator with two 6mm bolts.
Remove these 2 bolts, remove the bolts from the regulator and wriggle the regulator forward.
This should (!!) allow the glass to slip straight out the bottom of the door

This can be tricky, so take it slowly, and persistence pays. Dont forget, it's been in there for a long time.
It's very common for the glass bracket to be rotten and fall apart as you take the bolts out.

Good luck!

Once the door card has been removed, pop the winder handle back on and wind the window down. You will see the bracket come into view sliding down the regulatorand you will see there is a bolt either side of the regulator. The regulator is held in with 1 bolt at the bottom of the door and two at the winder.
All three are in plain sight
