help please
hi my 1961 beetle it is not running right it idles low i have to push my foot on the accelerate a touch too run as soon as i lift my foot it wants to
die car has been sitting not started for a month please help as want to drive on weekend finaly out of a cast and can drive now

If it was running ok previously,check the low speed jet on the generator side of the carby,these often block up.Points also close uo and can cause the
same symptoms.

With all the rain you guys have had it may have some water in the fuel.
Try half a cup of metho in the tank and take it for a run.
