Wiper Switch Escutcheon Nut


Hi all,

What the longest treaded Switch Escutcheon Nut on VW's

I have a wiper switch out of a 1302 bug and the nut is to short for the thickness of the new alloy dash

does anyone know of any options the hazzard one is the same size and I was wondering if a kombi one or something was longer

any help woukd be great

Shouldn't a 1302 have a wiper stalk on the column anyway? Mine does.

hes talking 71 1302, early super. they are completely different to the 72 and after version. wipers on the dash like the 69 bugs.

I think they are all the same, you may need to counter bore the ally dash.

Yeah did this today.... well go the 10mm belt sander on to the back of the dash

couldn't think of how to re bore it with a 14mm hole as a pilot....lol

turned out ok at the end of the day
