Grease nipples in ball joints

Hi all,
I'm fitting a new drag link and tie rods to the Kombi and am planning on installing grease nipples in them.
Has anyone else done this? comments?
Cheers,
Andy

if they have the plug to allow fitting of grease nipples it is a good idea to do later down the line (a year or so) but probably best left alone until you decide they actually need a grease

Andy, the reason that tie rod ends dont have any grease nipples in them now is because people would keep pumping grease into them which then split the boot allowing dirt and crud in which would then wear the joint even faster........for all your effort & time are you really saving money by fitting the grease nipples???
