Interesting Find

I was going through some stuff I've got the other day and came across something interesting.

Can anyone tell me anything about these? were they done for every model VW? are they still available?

Cheers
Mike

VW factory manual for dealers only. Most of these have escaped into the public domain now. Early ones like yours cover body and mechanics, later ones were broken down in to separate manuals eg: body, electrics, gearbox etc. Not common, but definitely not Rare. Nice Find.

vw produced some excellent manuals for their workshop people and also their spares people back in the 50's and 60's. I have a various ones including one that was produced for their sales reps in the late 50's covering everything from model specs to sales letter and followup procedures. Great reading!

these do come up from time to time on ebay and also swap meets. Kombi and beetle ones are more common than the type 3 and karmann Ghia ones so definetely look out for those.

1971 karmann ghia Cabrio - Cruising
1963 beetle Sunroof - gathering dust :fakesniff:
1968 race beetle - twin turbo Subaru - stress relief
1960 beetle - old school low & slow :smirk:
