KO861 is back in Whyalla

I first saw what was left of KO861 outside the scrap metal yard just down from my place, many years ago. I left it behind because it was too rough and I had nowhere to store it. I thought it went in the crusher but it went to Adelaide, then eBay, now it’s back in Whyalla again. I haven't been able to catch up with bloke who bought it but I will. It sure is a challenge. It’s in the gallery.
Cheers
Tony

Small world Tony-it was mine.I bought it from Colin Anderson to take all the running gear out of it,he wanted the shell back .I left it outside his yard on Keith Street, from where it suddenly disappeared. Then a few weeks ago I found it again, sitting on a trailer in Shiny's yard.Hows that for a coincidence? Lucky I didn't leave it with all the running gear still in it.Will have to start a new project to use all the stuff.

Is the owner of KO861 on the forum? or can someone PM me phone number or email? pretty sure his name was Wayne, want to have a chat to see if he still has a car i sold him years ago, would love to buy back. And i think Tony B has a plate for this car 861 also, so could reunite it with the car.
thanks
Andy

Hey Andy
Give Gary (nbturbo) a call, he knows Shiny, I don't know the bloke. I'll text you his number. I do have the rear number plate of it. It would be great if those old original number plates could be used again.
Cheers
Tony
