indicator switch
Hi guys i have bought an after market indicator switch for my 71 super bug.the switch is made in denmark part number 111 953 513c. has any one have
the wiring diagram as there was none in the box
have had wired up but unable to get the indicators to flash appears that i may have a wire in the wrong place As the colors of the wires are slight
different to what joel described for me earlier .i dont have a black wire with green and a white band.can post photo tomorrow if needed.

indicator switch wiring
I Have added pictures of the wires on the new switch i have a black & green wire for the right indicator ,black& white for the l / h indicator
brown with white trace for high beam brown wire for the earth .the spare wires i have are red with a black strip ,plain black and a creamy colored
wire.i can get the blinkers to come on but not flash .is it possible the red and black wire is the indicatoe signal from the flasher relay. any help
woud be appreciated .

Yo try this web site for the wiring diagram

Basically its only a switch that closes to turn the lights on if you have a mulit meter test for continuity or as close to 0 ohms using the ohms
setting.

If you could do the same as the last one and take a pic of the back of the switch it shouldn't be hard to work out.

back of switch
Hi joel here is the back of the switch,there are eight wires
GREY
RED /WITH BLACK STRIPE
GREEN WITH BLACK STRIPE
PLAIN WHITE
BROWN WITH WHITE STRIPE
PLAIN BLACK
BLACK WITH WHITE STRIPE
PLAIN LIGHT BROWN.

White is your horn ground
The brown one below the indicator switch arm is the highbeam relay wire, goes to S on the relay
The outside row of wires is your indicators
middle one (black) is input from the indicator flasher relay, connects to 49a.
bottom one black with green is the right indicators and goes to the 4 way splitter block
top one white with black is left indicator and goes to left 4 ways splitter box.
that inside row of wires red/black, grey and is the top one brown with white cant see it real well?
theyre part of the euro light system not used in aus so just leave them disconnected.
