Obvious the benefits of EP are there and are being used to show up some big fuel sucking cars that there not all that good.
Just like beating a WRX powered VW with an aircooled VW engine - Total satisfaction.
Think I may have just opened a can of worms 
Please, no knives 
Just quietly I would love to have a subi in a Beetle, but I am not chopping my car up now. Maybe next time
