kombi 3 way fridge

so got a 1974 kombi with a 3 way fridge...how does one get this thing to do its job

No instructions and no markings on any of the dials other than the switch which has 220v to the left position and 12v to the right.
Even on 12v which i would figure would be just flick it to 12v and it would cool..but no go.

Any help would be great.

its 110% a 3 way.

the gas tap is near the cylinders under side seat.

top one clicks so assuming in a piezoelectric

middle switch has 2 settings

the bottom 2 knobs just turn and then there is the red push button.

well the push button is most likely the spark does it spark when pushed the 1 near it could be the pilot you hold it down until the gas starts than release i would say that the 1 with240 is probably the 12 240 switch and the top could be the gas on there is the right count of knobs and buttons as for 240 and 12 volt they usea small heating element and can be bought from most caravan suppliers they look like a small sausage with 2 wires hanging out
goodluck
