Subaru engine Turbo WTB

I am going to sell my EJ25 that I have in my split as it seems to much of a drama to do the wiring due to it being a 2006.

So I am thinking if I have to get another engine I may as well go one better, so chasing a good subaru turbo engine pre 2005.

Thanks

Yeah it is fly by wire and that is apparently the probelm plus the ABS set up.

I will try and get you that other photo, the bus is not with me here but will get it as soon as I can. (maybe a week)

Thanks for your help.

Brad, You remove the following

all the loom ( dont cut any thing ) leave the injectors in
Idle control valve
Fly by wire throttle body current rubber hoses

....................................................

Now I am looking for a cam wheel sensor on the ring hand head as in photo. The sensor may be at the back of the motor going through the head it will have an electrical cable going to it
.................................................
now you need a

An early EJ25 n/a wiring harness & ecu , throttle body & ICV is what you need with the cam wheel sensor & bracket & coil pack and leads
..................................................
The fix

Fit proximity pick up to right hand head this come from the ej25 / ej22 /ej20

Measure right hand cam shaft & let me know the OD. I have a set of cam wheel that I have made + The MY04 bug eye cam may just straight on and be the fix to get a pulse for the right hand head. If so I have them as well
( yes I collect this gear all the time )

basically you putting items from the early motor to this late one and adding the pick up on the cam & the coil pack and leads

I have just done this on a fly by wire motor & it works
