Wiring harness/Loom
Hi all,
I want to replace the wiring harness/loom in my car ..the kits available from the US are very expensive ....are they the same as the Beetle and can
anyone tell me where I can get one here in Australia ...even Brisbane?
All help sincerely appreciated!

Leave the stock wiring to be repaired if necessary....WAY better than anything you can buy.

Good advice, Matt. The original harness survived the 'roll' on No.8 Beetle, and I re-used it. Take care with the wires around the engine, as they
tend to get harder with age [half their luck ] I managed to
drag a '3-core flex' through the old choke cable conduit, for the tacho, oil pressure & temp. gauges.
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

Not really, Your 182 uses a late loom that is VERY different than an early/6V loom.
