empi rear disk conversion kit

I bought a rear disk brake conversion kit on classicveedub.

Now the thing is i bought i 10 month ago and I had to finish the gearbox, chassis, ... now its about time to install it.

Unfortunately i came with 2 right rear calipers. I can't use the right caliper on the left site and classicveedub refuse to take the set back or over me to change one right caliper to a left caliper.

Does anyone has an idee what to do just buy a left caliper? And is someone interested in a right caliper (part number 22-2960-b) I'm looking for 22-2959-b.

That sounds like Classicveedub really care about there customer service, so much for good will and these people will be the first to complain when people stop buying from them, you would think that they would just change over the caliper even if you bought it 10 months ago as it would be no skin of there nose, every body on this site should just stop buying anything from them for a month and send a them message, i no longer deal with any importer's in Australia because of this type of crap, also happened to me with the same shop but i was able to brow beat him into taking it back..

I was told sorry mate no longer available! after 6weeks!!!! whats the problem with those guys????

Anyhow some idea where i can get a replacement?

I tried 2 stores in the US but they don't ship overseas or don't accept my aussie ccard.

Or are there any other calipers that i can use?

You can get companies over in the USA that order on your behalf. You ship to them and they then forward it to you.

Companies like
http://www.forwardit.us/
http://www.priceusa.com.au/fees.html
http://www.myamericanshopper.com/

I have not used any of them so can't offer any advice but, that might be a solution for you.

Glad I could help. I would probably try and ring George for one last try for him to exchange it first though before I spent anymore money.
