Noise what is it?????
OK I have tracked this noise down and again for your viewing pleasure I have made a drawing iti s directly behind the spot where the front beam is
attached and if I rock the car gentle back and forth whilst under the car I have found it appears to be coming from the inside of this bit as per the
drawing. Question is WTF is inside of this spot I also notice a small inspection panel in the front of where the beam connects but whats inside thats
what I need to know anyone got a pic?

What sort of noise is it ???
That inspection plate is there to be able to get the shift rod in and out... nothing really in there to do otherwise. Certainly not anything
adjustable/removable.
Could be a rock or similar rolling around inside....

Hi
there is a flatish steel plate on either side behind the nose...
stones get caught on those shelves..
the brake master cylinder is on the Drivers side shelf...
en
there is the nose of the chassis.... which has a long plate with rounded ends... thats the end of the tunnel...
and on the drivers side there is a round plate with the steering box behind it...
Best of Luck

Maybe the Frame head has a crack in it - can sometimes be welded with the fuel tank out, but to do it properly you may need to remove the front beam
and body.
