[FS - QLD] 2 x VR6 MkIII Golf

Hello,

Thought I would get these posted on here, as soon as these sell, can get back to restoring my Kombi Panelvan :)

Up for sale is both of the “extra” VR6’s that come with my current daily driver. They are both 1996 models.

The first is a manual, but the engine requires a rebuild. According to my partners father (previous owner), his son tried to drive it though some water over the road and locked the engine. The mechanic he took it too did manage to get it started, but had a horrible noise that lead him to believe a bent conrod, and switched it off immediately.

Not too much to say about the car really, I have never started it, driven it, or seen it running, believe it has been off the road for approximately 2 years and according to the last service sticker on the windscreen has about 270 000+ kms on it.
I have taken all the parts I require from it and will be selling it whole.

The second vehicle is a Automatic but this is also not working. I do not know exactly what is wrong with it but believe is it unrepairable? From all accounts the engine in this vehicle is fine although has not been started for quite some time. I do not know how many kms are on this car, but will try and get that information from the girls dad. The paint is in poor condition on the roof and bonnet, there is also a small dent on the front of the bonnet where it struck a bird.

With both these vehicles have tried to be as honest as I know, as I have never owned these cars, they just come with the package of my VR6.

$1000 for each of them, $1500 for both.

The red VR6 is located in Brisbane (Just near Fairfield), but the purple VR6 is out at Laidley at the moment.

I WILL NOT BE PARTING THESE VEHICLES OUT.

Cheers
Ross (0404 465 549)

Yeah, probably weekends suit the best, but I also do shift work so might be able to do weekdays depending on my shifts.

PRICE DROP due to re-evaluation of worth....

$1000 each or BOTH for $1500.

I am still not interested in parting these out, take them away!
