Cheryl -My 63 Beetle
So, I went and got some paint and painting supplies yesterday, I finally decided on a colour!. It's going to be a long project!. My husband has
unbolted the floor, ready for a new floor pan and He said the heater channels are near perfect, so far so good!.
I'm keeping everything I standard, as much as my friends want me to put a WRX motor in it :-/ (eeek!)
We've also gone right over the car and converted all the rust ( big job!). She's been stripped of all chrome strips and windows etc, getting things
ready for painting. Finally feels like we're getting somewhere with it :-)

lol, I WISH it was my car ;-) this was my dream car- for years and years.. we're slowly going to get there!. Will be great to see the before and
after pic's once it's all done. My profile pic is my car. As you can see we have a little way to go yet ;-)

lol and what a time it was to get the right one too lol... it's along story... the first one we looked at was a super bug snot green and had bog
cracking thru the roof and in one of the doors and got told that it was the bog that was put on from the factory..gave me a good laugh then a few
days later we found out about the white one we have went and had a look was all good.. but there was one one we needed to look at that sounded the
same that would end up cheaper.. and what a day that turned out to be. got told there was only surface rust in the car.. HAHAHAHAHAHA.. drove 2 hours
with a trailer got there touched the heater channels and they just crumbled away and the floor was stuffed it moved up and down when you touched it.
and all the lady said was i should of checked the car before i e-mailed you.. so drove home with an empty trailer and got in touch with with the peeps
that owned the white one (members from here) and got that one home... that night cause i only had a car and trailer for a limited time haven't done
tooo much too it have got most of the surface rust off the car got the windows out and the car parted form the chassis heater channels are perfect
it's got some small rust holes in the car that are gonna be an easy fix sand needs a quarter or the floor replacing but other that that it's a great
base to start the project gonna be a complete rebuild i think but will be worth it.. anyhow enough of my bad grammar and punctuation. here's some

sorry about the crap quality of the pics.. will make them better for the next lot i put up.. should be a good project to do.. got all the paint
supply's so i can get stuck into it  will be alot different to doing my
car up tho (nissan) here's some more pics tho the kids love the car which is awesome

ok small update have finally got some room in the shed to get some more done.. have split the chassis for the body by my self not an easy task when
you don't have a big trolly jack next time i'll get a few mates around when it goes back on.. still waiting on the quarter of the floor pan to show
up have been told it was sent last friday so will be this week should be
and then should be able to get into it

ok so it's been a while but theres no rush have done a bit in the last couple of weeks getting it all primed bit by bit .. heres some pic's.. i've
very pleased with the way it's tuning out the only filler i've found is in the guards and bonnet and . and very little rust in the car.. hoping to
have it ready for paint end of Jan
