Spark Issue


what would cause a poor spark out of a compufire dis ix ignition on one car and on another it work fine.:grind:

i cannot get a thing out of it, no firing up at what ever the advance.
could some one tell me if it could be a chinese 009 dizzy that is the problem.

try using a relay from the live wire to the coil and test all earths i had 1 that did that and a relay fixed it

my installation of a hard start relay would not of done it, would it ?

relay did not work.
spoke to Rod Penrose, he said pull it out.

sent a message to compufire about this issue with my car.
said you would only have a bad earth.
so i earthed the dizzy with a wire from the dissy clip screw to the alternator earth.
still no sparking and firing.
i guess it could only be one thing. the cap! good old solid state.
my electrics has all been checked and i have no probs, every thing works except DIS IX
