[FS - TAS] 1967/68 Type 3 Fastback *SOLD*
1967/68 (from my best efforts to decipher badge numbers) Type 3 Fastback, 1600 Twin Carb, engine in original condition and runs immaculately, brakes
re-done in early 2009, New left tie rod ends 2009, new top and bottom ball joints, right side tie rod ends and steering damper just prior to being
taken off the road in March 2011, this was my daily driver until I needed to add a baby car seat and got something newer, TAS Rego until Feb 2012
(Rego: A 05 RJ). In almost original condition, has had a new top coat of paint applied in 2008, repairs to front damage to left front panel and a new
bonnet that has not been painted on the inside and original bumpers replaced with slightly better ones (not 100% perfect), new windscreen and
windscreen rubber in 2009 (for roadworthy). Interior is all original and in fairly good condition, a couple of sections of stitching need repair in
drivers seat and one small tear in roof lining, original carpets need steam cleaning and previous owner was a smoker so roof lining stained but
salvageable, dash pad is cracked near speaker vent, added speakers to rear parcel shelf and a CD player that can be removed with no evidence of it
ever having been in the car, currently runs Beetle rims and hub caps but still have original rims to go with the car. I have checked the car for rust
and found nothing, but I am willing to check any problems areas I may be unaware of, PM me if you are interested and any have any areas you
specifically want checked. More photos to be added soon.
$4,500.00 O.N.O. (as advertised on Trading Post and Gum Tree)
Car is in Goodwood, Tasmania (Happy to work with interested parties on ways to transport, would be more than happy to drive car to Devonport and take
to Melbourne on the ferry)
