I scored a SPLITTY today....
It's a 1960 splity, had camper conversion and has bay window front discs.

What a massive job to collect it. It was placed in a backyard as a feature years ago by a crane lifting it over the house as there was no rear access
to the yard!!! It was placed above a pond and had a water tube runnung along the sill which ran into the pond like a waterfall. Anyway, the garage was
pulled down during the week which allowed me to get the van out. 4 flat tyres and rear wheel held on to bare axles with house bricks and wire made a 3
hour job of putting it on the trailer. When I got home I strapped it to the house and drove the trailer from under it.
I had some rear drums at home that I mounted yesterday and have fitted the van now with standard kombi rims with whitewalls all round. It rolls
perfectly now.:thumb

It has some rust, but nothing too bad, I could fix the rust within a day. Its totally fixable.
