buggy has arrived home. prev owner was finally convinced $2k was a good deal (for me!!).
to be re-barred & tyred F&R, lifted & re clutched.
motor is a strong 1600 tp with a 2 barrell weber on a riser. king front, 15" wheels & lic as a 73 vw beachbuggy.
what more could you want???

i'm led to believe its an astrum.
its different from the others i've seen in that it has big side pods and a full rear skirt section.
it also seems a bit squarer edged than the others i've seen.
here's the brothers astrum body awaiting transformation
