KY Jelly lubricant
Ok this is no joke!!
I was trying to install my windows with new cal look rubbers as I just re did my headliner
No matter what I did I could get the windows back in!!
So I did a little googling and found on samba that a guy had used KY jelly, so I thought what the hey I'll give it a try, this was a last ditch
effort!
And
What do ya know, windows popped straight in!!! It was amazing!!!
So if anyone is putting in new window rubbers, dilute 1:10 KY to water in a spray bottle and lube those rubbers up!!!!
The only downside is having to go to the supermarket and buy KY, a spray bottle, some small rope, and disposable rubber gloves, definitely got some
weird looks!!

I remember reading where a fellow used ARMORALL on the rubbers and got them all in...
but when He shut the door one of the side windows popped out....

Never use armorall on anything, it contains alcohol, so it will dry it out, window rubbers, vinyl, anything
I tried soapy water, but it just killed the glue I used for the headliner. Maybe I was using the wrong soap??
Oh and the stuff I used was water based, so it mixed with the water well
Ps there will be no demos, whatsoever!!!

Can also damage paint.
I read it on samba, so it must be correct.
Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!
