What needs to be done to an 091 box to handle 250 hp reliably??
I have an 091 gearbox for my Baja project thats going in front of an SR20det .
I am building the car as an all round fun machine capable of offroading as well as the occational run down the strip all the while being registered
here in sunny Qld.
It's funny how you can go to one event (Warwick 2011) and come away with a new direction.
The intension is not to go to wild with the power but just to tickle the engine enough to put out around 180 hp ATW.
I need it to be reliable as it will be my weekend road goer.
I've heard about Albins gearing, super diffs etc, but was looking for some advice from from those in the know about the amount of abuse these things
really handle.
I will be running 31inch offroaders on the rear most of the time but I am quite willing to have another set of wheels specifically for the strip.
Any advice on the matter would be appreciated
Cheers Jade
