Suppliers of body replacement parts
Hey
As I am new to the forum and have just got myself a project car (1970 beetle) I was wondering who is a good and reputable supplier of parts.
Looking for
- replacement heater channels
- front window mount (not to sure the tech name but its the metal bar that holds the window up)
Cheers
Bex

I'm too am looking at going down that road soon.
I need left heater channel and floor.
After the limited research I've done I'm looking at buying from Wolfsburg West out of LA.
According to my source their floors are made for them and are a excellent match in detail and dimensions and slightly thicker than the originals.
I'm not sure about the channels I've got to look into where they are made.
Hopefully they are the same deal as the floors.
Good luck.

For early cars ( not that this relates to this thread) I have had amazing service from Wolf at wolfparts in Sweden.
C'mon kids gather round,
there's a new sensation hitting town,
It's moving straight, low to the ground,
it'll pick you up when your feeling down.

We are official Wolfsburg West distributors (thanks Ash) - so if you do
need anything let us know. To date we have been working hard to build up our inventory of splitty repair panels but the beetle parts are coming soon.
We are putting in a sea freight order very shortly with WW as air freighting panels like heater channels can add considerable cost (around $250-350
for a pair of channels for example). We are happy to air freight on behalf of customers if its an urgent order but the associated costs have to be
incurred by the customer unfortunately (hence we sea freight as much as we can).
Cheers
Al
