Replacement twin port carb

Has anyone tried one of the replacement 34 pict carbs on a stock twin port engine, I know they are made by Empi and come from China and with Empi's track record at selling shite quality parts I am a bit worried about fitting one, the original carb on this engine is not repairable so we need to get something.

I need some input from someone who has run one of the empi replacements so I can decide what to do, or if anyone has a good original 34 pict3 and manifold let me know.

Thanks

The new ones have a separate idle circuit. you will need to solder up bleed hole in throttle plate to operate properly.

I looked around for a “good used 34pict” but soon realised no such beast exists. Updated to a 32/36 Weber and very happy with it.
