[FS - NSW] J&S lwb buggy, EJ25 - SOLD!

Well after a series of ill timed speeding tickets due to stress, family disasters and the like, I have 1 point left on my license for the next 18 months. A very good mate suggested maybe I need a slower car and I think he has a point. So the buggy is up for sale or trade. I was ready to sell anyway really.

Basically what I want is a good NSW rego 60s beetle or maybe an immaculate type 3, I'm open to talking about it.

The buggy owes me in excess of 35k. Yep, that's what they cost to build. But I'm not dreaming.

Price drop $10,000

Minus driving lights, terraphone, imported offroad rims (x6) and spares.

Now the specs;

1960 lwb chassis with type 3 IRS
Squareback drums/ mazda discs
95 Subaru EJ25 stock ECU and Schimo built 091 box with 4 spider gear diff and 0.88 top gear for the hwy.
4 seats, heater, baby harness point and a host of other bits and pieces.
2 other set of wheels tyres
FULL Nsw rego, with engineers cert

http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk127/stpeterscia/general%20buggy%20pics/kc08zak1.jpg

It has a few battle scars and could do with a little love, but it's reliable and very fast. It won a dirt motorkhana outright last year without me trying very hard at all. It's also run 15.8 at Eastern Ck with me missing a gear. I believe it has a 14 in it for the right driver. It's been driven, but not thrashed and the motor has just over 100k on it from what I could figure out. I'll try and take some more recent shots of the car in the next few days.

Ferkn cheap as, but I'm no dreamer, mind you 1 point for 18 months isn't real hard to do, I did 12 months on a good behavior license which gives you no points, damned nerv wracking though, hope it goes to a good home.

Hi Pete

That's a shame, just when it was all going well, you only ever loose money on these things when you sell them.

Can't you just park it and buy a daily, I picked up one owner Pintara for my son to drive, you would have to crash into a cop shop to get a ticket.

Yeah no dramas. Can you call after 3:30pm. At work and can't answer til then.

Steve, thanks for the kind words, but actually the buggy has been pretty sadly unused in the last 12 months or so. I've only managed 2 events in all that time... and I'm ready to move on I think.
