[FS - NSW] 1974 Karmann Ghia


1974 KARMANN GHIA- SHOW CAR
After sitting in the garage for the last 4 years we have decided to find a new owner for a lovely show KG. It has won many trophies and is in excellent condition. It is registered in NSW with the number plate POZ00M but theses plates will not be part of the sale.

The Engine is a 2.1Litre Oxyboxer including 76mm stroke 94mm bore Heads are oval ported and polished, inlet valves 40mm, exhaust 35.5mm, K8 cam,45mm throttle bodies. It has a ECU Halteck E6X, fuel and ignition. The Gearbox is 1600 IRS, 1800 3rd and 4th gears, and a 1800 clutch.
All mechanicals by Ben Durie Automotive Engineering
The Rims are Mahle, Porsche 914 – Gas Burners.

Ohhh Noooo. It would be a shame to see you sell this car. I have a little soft spot it because as you know it was my wedding car a few years back. In saying that is one very nice KG and good luck with the sale. Free bump. If only I wasnt building a new house.

If this is the same car.

I remember when it was sold in its original paint from California by Volksbahn, one of the straightest driest Karmanns I had ever seen that was about 18 years ago.

So it was a good car to start with.
