I didn't make it the nationals this year

still working on My beetle, just about finished

ready to put the fuel tank back in...

Didn't want to go without double checking everything again, on the steering

as replaced the front end- one tie rods and 2 boots one balljoint and 3 boots and replaced the steering box etc..

Should get to Nambucca this year..

Damn Lee - I could have given you a lift if you wanted to go. I didn't really know for sure I was going untill late Thursday, but I should have posted it. You would have been out before the wheel came off. :-)

Yeah Dragsters, it has been interesting - not what I planned, but the weather is fine, and I didn't get hurt - the beetle still steered with one front wheel - just no brakes once the brake hose got ripped out when the caliper broke off.

Seb, hope to have the bug back in a few days - once the parts arrive and get fitted. I guess these things happen when you do heaps of K's, although it is great fun when it is going. :-)
