[FS - NSW] 1971 super beetle
1971 super beetle for sale
It is a 1971 super beetle. It is painted in primer which was done by the previous owner, great for me as intention was to have it as a rat rod. Rust
in usual places. Has no floor coverings, and a little ratty inside.
It does have 6 months rego, it has new adjustable front struts,all new urethane front end, strut brace,urethane gearbox mounts, new rear wheel
bearing,new wheel cylinders and shoes in the back. New rear main seal, new j pipes, new throw out bearing (recommended by mechanic since motor was
out).
Comes with new genuine hella headlights (not fitted). New stainless steel running boards (not fitted). All new window seals with chrome insert strips
(not fitted). New t bars to take place of bumper bars ( not fitted). New stainless steel vw hubcaps (not fitted). New white wall tyre moulds (not
fitted).
New tail lights and seals and surrounds (not fitted). Also fitted with quick shifter, have a new glove box and gear knob and also new chrome work for
dash (all not yet fitted).
Drives well and thanks to the front end no shimmy, very firm front end. Regretful sale but other commitments must come first. Forgot to mention also
have a set of Bathurst globes I think they are, with 60% tread. Asking $3000 and will work on putting up some photos or can email you some photos.
Spent allot of money to get it through rego that's why it has so many new items fitted mechanically.
Carby was overhauled and modified to suit the 009 dizzy. New plugs points etc. Car is located in Beaumont hills, looks ratty and the intention was to
make it look proper ratty as that is the look I like.
