Seat belts
Who out there has installed seat belts in the rear of their Beetle? The 61 I have just recently purchased has fronts but none in the rear. I'm aware
it doesn't legally need any and I will only be driving it once a week max but I would love for my 5 and 8 year old boys to come along and be as safe
as possible.
Some places I have spoken to have suggested for me to try and install them myself and then get them complianced. I would love to hear if anyone has
been down this path before?

Yeah easy to put them in
Just replaced the single sash belts in the stoka with lap/sash klippan brand that cost $ 90 each brand new
Used cams/fia approved plates sourced from eBay for the extra location point

You will need to have them engineered and aproved for use in Queensland and a blue plate attached to your car. find a approved fitting station or a
automotive engineer, there will be a list of approved engineers on the main roads web site.

Can anyone recommend a place to do them preferably on Brisbane's south side?
