Pauly , wide 5 rims are not that easy to find anymore , ones that you would use anyway

I think race engineering. Can be a little expensive, but does good work.

If its just the rim, like You have hit the gutter etc..
I'm sure there would be places that repair that easily...??

but there would be a lot of good wide 5 rims still about I believe , Maybe on cars, or in sheds, as the ones laying on the ground don't last long with a bit of rain and rust...
even late ones rust away..

best of luck

Thanks for the reply's guy's.

It's actually for the HQ.

Years ago one of my Dad's workers hit a gutter.

We sourced a replacement back then from a later model, which has only been the spare.

Apparently 1- tonner standard rims are different to sedans/wagons/ utes.

They are hard to find.

I'm hopefully doing a abit of preservation work on it next year,.. and I like to go down the route of repair rather than replace.

Especially if it was original to the car.

I have fixed many bent steel rims with a hammer and home made drift. Easy.

I had a near new Golf 2 GTI bent rim that I took to a tyre service and he fixed it for free and I couldn't see where the damage had been. It took him about 5 minutes.

I read it on samba, so it must be correct.

Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!
