Nice frame dude. that should solidify things somewhat.
I was wondering too what make of caliper is that on the rear discs? looking into 4 wheel discs at present

Hi Mike, the rear disks are from a mazda FD S6 RX7 and the calipers are from FC S5 RX7
I just bolted the frame in temporary to make engine mounts and to see where the turbo and gate sit on the cheap manifold.
Alsow put in two 880cc injectors with two 580cc as primaries.

The wast-gate is a copy (60mm valve)
I'll finish the frame this week end.

Good stuff Aaron.
I can see you and Bec on the line together going for best wheelie....
Had to laugh Saturday night every time you started the kombi people looking around trying to work out where the rotor noise was coming from and then
shaking their heads in disbelief when it was coming from a Kombi.
Glad you were able to drive it home.

Unfortunately i can't go larger than arunnd 1500 with the stock converter, to go larger it'll cost 2-2.5k,,,,,, So no wheelies for Bec. He he.
Was a great day on saterday and knight, would have liked to show up some v8 guys, and get a 1/4 time slip. Maybe next time.
The square seems to be going backwards, Theres more rust than i thought, deeper deeper deeper.
Now its time to weld!!!

Get some Waxoyl into all those rusty nocks and crannies. Will kill the rust and protect without having to do the usually clean, cure and seal routine
Tho don't get it too near the area being welded as it can sometime combust

Thanks for the tips.
Year still big hours at work aswell, but anyway , i had a little help last night from bec, she picks things up fast.
Most the welding is done and i'm looking forward to pulling the auto apart and doing some mods.
Made a template from cardboard by pressing down then tracing the shape to steel then add some shape with a hammer and then weld and grind.
This is the best way i thought as i've never done this befor.

Hi westi, good that you could make it up here.
The 010 auto was in the type 3 for nealy 2 years (198rwhp) 1 hr per day, my usual driving, To my surprise the box was perfict.
Waiting on the new o'rings and pistions, brake band ect.
Alsow the converter.
I've made an electric water pump in - outlet for the engine and made air pump, elec oil feed and polution block off plates.
The new auto will have kombi 010 diff , housing, auto case,010 1st clutch pack (x4 stock),010 modifided oil pump, drive reverse bell and clutches, 2nd
gear servo and pistion.
With Audi 200 turbo converter,200t forward bell with Audi 100 clutches x6 (4 stock), remove 8 forward piston springs, alsow 200t valve body and
selector system with mods, 010 sump modifided. Kombi inner cv's and type 3 outers.
I have a problem with photo bucket pic's.
Will post more soon.
