Yes finally got my licence back from ANDRA at lunch time on Wednesday,
so down tools on gearboxes and put my car back together.
Only tuning change from the Jamboree was a little less fuel above 7000.
10.905 @ 123.06 backing off due to cold track.(did a 'Westi')
10.726 @ 125.80 good run but not super clean, since my shift light was playing up.
11.248 @ 125.17 missed 2nd gear and no shift light
10.768 @ 125.86 good run, but still a little untidy.
Engine tune is pretty close now,
and at 1808lbs is making good power.(better than my Sydney 10.70 and 126mph)
The 1/2 track mph numbers were a little lower than at Jambo,
so perhaps a pound or 2 of fuel pressure change here or there will be better still.

1.528
1.490
1.474
1.481
1/8 mile:
6.974 @99.3 mph
6.815 @ 99.91 (best 1/8 ET but not speed of 101.15)
7.298 @98.14 (missed 2nd gear)
6.861 @100.09

What size tyre u running Dave.
Nice wrinkle . I am jealous .
What rpm do you leave at and what psi.
I watched all my video footage and sadly no wrinkle for me just yet.
My car takes off shit , but it still 60's ok .
1.438 is my best so far.
I really want a low 1.3.
Hopefully the new tyre helps.

I got the soft 8" Hoosiers to fit better under the guard,
but the side wall is actually wider than my old 8.5"MT's.
I always start at 12psi, but keep in mind that they will heat up as I run,
so usually drop it every run to maintain 12.
Some times they cool to 11psi, but at jambo with good track 13 was fine.
Normally leave at 7500, of late,
but the more aggressive clutch seems to like more.
The more wrinkled photo of those two was 8400rpm.

I'm digging the Bathurst Globes Dave!
I've got some Aunger 5-slot alloys in 4x130 if you feel like a change but don't wanna ruin the mood.
Good times for a heavy truck.

One whole bin of chips so far Dave.
Used some Volksy 10mm studs to clamp the blocks to an angle plate at 30 degrees for the head flange:

Then try and dream up a way to remove the material for some rough ports.
Drilling will take a long tome. and hope it lines up at the other side! Hmmmm.
